Requirements:
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
  • Solid programming experience with Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
  • Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in serverless architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Experience with logging solutions (ELK stack, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Experience managing relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
  • Experience managing NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement and manage cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring seamless integration with our data platforms.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Develop backend services using Node.js/TypeScript, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Lead architectural discussions and decision-making for cloud-native applications, data pipelines, and microservices.
  • Enhance system observability, monitoring, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve performance and reliability issues.
  • Advocate for best practices in cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture by mentoring peers, participating in technical design reviews, and driving innovation within the cloud engineering space.
