Requirements:
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
- Solid programming experience with Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in serverless architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Experience with logging solutions (ELK stack, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience managing relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
- Experience managing NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement and manage cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring seamless integration with our data platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop backend services using Node.js/TypeScript, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead architectural discussions and decision-making for cloud-native applications, data pipelines, and microservices.
- Enhance system observability, monitoring, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve performance and reliability issues.
- Advocate for best practices in cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture by mentoring peers, participating in technical design reviews, and driving innovation within the cloud engineering space.
