SR QA Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience using Azure DevOps
• Testing/exploiting databases (e.g., SQLite, SQL Server)
• Software product test plan development
• Agile project team development experiences
• Quality assurance planning and execution
• Software work item acceptance criteria development

Responsibilities:

• Write, revise, and own QA test plans for one of the product modules.
• Help define acceptance criteria and validate user stories meets the requirements.
• Create ADOs for any bugs found and then work with Developers to resolve bugs.
• Design and execute test cases with a focus on client business goals and quality assurance.
• Execute all level of testing (Smoke Functional, Regression and Acceptance tests).
• Collaborate with development teams and our functionality experts to ensure testing aligns with desired outcomes.
• Ensure the defined QA best practice should be followed.
• Maintain test data sets.
• Establish a QA Health status for the product to share during the Sprint Reviews or at the request of stakeholders
• Provide feedback on testing methodologies and suggest improvements to increase product quality and client satisfaction
• Execute automated test scripts to test the application.
• Develop and maintain software quality traceability matrix
• Support development and execution of product performance (e.g., speed, data set size) testing
