Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience as an SAP IS Retail Consultant.
- Proven expertise in SAP IS Retail, including POSDM, POSDTA, and CAR modules.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP, SAP FICO, and SAP S4 HANA 2020.
- Experience working with retail clients, providing end-to-end SAP IS Retail solutions.
- Strong knowledge of business process analysis, configuration, customization, and system integration.
- Proficiency in technical troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and project management.
- Certified N2 or N3 Japanese speaker, fluent in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams and local stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in retail and e-commerce environments.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple SAP IS Retail projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of SAP IS Retail modules to align with business requirements.
- Implement key SAP IS Retail functionalities, including POSDM (Point of Sale Data Management), POSDTA (Point of Sale Transfer & Audit), and CAR (Customer Activity Repository).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP IS Retail solutions with SAP ERP and SAP FICO.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP IS Retail solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP IS Retail modules, ensuring best practices in retail industry processes.
- Develop and implement custom solutions to optimize retail operations and enhance business processes.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance.
- Create training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users and key stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP IS Retail advancements and apply innovations to business solutions.
- Work closely with the global SAP team based in NYC and the local project manager in Japan.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions to align project goals.
- Provide remote support and on-site assistance during critical project phases in Japan.
