Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to education, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership.
  • Experience in fundraising, corporate sponsorships, or donor engagement.
  • An established network of corporate leaders, philanthropic organizations, or high-net-worth donors.
  • A background in finance, law, technology, AI, education, or social impact (preferred but not required).
  • Prior experience serving on a nonprofit board (preferred but not required).
  • The ability to dedicate 5–10 hours per quarter to board meetings, fundraising efforts, and committee work.
Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic organizations to support TEEI’s mission.
  • Leverage your network to facilitate introductions to high-net-worth individuals and CSR leaders.
  • Support the organization in meeting its annual fundraising goals of $50,000–$100,000 per board member.
  • Provide strategic input on TEEI’s expansion in the U.S., financial sustainability, and long-term growth.
  • Ensure nonprofit governance, fiscal oversight, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Serve on at least one board committee (e.g., Fundraising, Governance, Finance).
  • Strengthen TEEI’s presence by engaging with corporate executives, policymakers, and philanthropic leaders.
  • Represent TEEI at fundraising events, networking opportunities, and public engagements.
  • Advocate for education, workforce development, and nonprofit innovation.
  • Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person) and contribute to TEEI’s strategic initiatives.
  • Offer mentorship and thought leadership to TEEI’s executive team and fundraising committees.
