Requirements:
  • A passion for education, workforce development, and economic mobility.
  • Experience in fundraising, corporate social responsibility (CSR), donor relations, or nonprofit advisory roles.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level guidance on fundraising, organizational expansion, and nonprofit sustainability.
  • Offer expertise in corporate philanthropy, social impact investment, and major donor engagement.
  • Support TEEI’s leadership team in refining key growth strategies and funding approaches.
  • Act as a connector between TEEI and corporate sponsors, private donors, and philanthropic organizations.
  • Facilitate introductions to high-net-worth individuals, venture philanthropists, and corporate giving programs.
  • Help the organization meet its fundraising goals of $25,000–$50,000 per advisor through personal contributions or facilitated donations.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new funding streams, strategic alliances, and grant partnerships.
  • Represent TEEI at industry events, networking forums, and philanthropic gatherings to expand visibility.
  • Serve as an advocate for educational equity, workforce development, and economic empowerment.
  • Attend quarterly advisory board meetings (virtual or in-person) to provide key strategic input.
  • Participate in fundraising and donor stewardship activities to help cultivate long-term supporters.
  • Work collaboratively with other Advisory Board Members and the Board of Directors to ensure aligned strategic priorities.
