Requirements:
  • Deep market expertise with a strong understanding of the local sports nutrition landscape, including consumer behavior, key competitors, leading products, and sales channels
  • A proven track record in scaling brands, with several years of experience growing a sports nutrition or related FMCG brand in the local market—ideally in a Country Manager, General Manager, or comparable role—with a strong history of driving brand growth and managing P&L responsibility
  • An established network, maintaining strong relationships within target communities (especially bodybuilding and hybrid fitness) as well as connections with key opinion leaders
  • Alignment with ESN’s core values, demonstrating an athlete mindset, a passion for sports (e.g., bodybuilding, hybrid fitness), and expertise in sports nutrition
  • Versatile skill set that combines strategic vision, initiative, creativity, and hands-on execution. You excel at driving projects independently while navigating ambiguity and fast-changing conditions
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience in building and managing high-performing country teams
  • Native proficiency in English (bonus: additional languages)
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the country strategy to drive market growth in the UK, covering marketing, sales, operations, and customer experience
  • Lead the local go-to-market strategy, managing market entry, project execution, local events, UX/UI optimization, process improvements, tool implementation, and localization efforts
  • Continuously optimize performance by identifying key growth levers, prioritizing strategic actions, and implementing both quick wins and long-term initiatives
  • Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams to develop strategies, maintain a consistent brand presence in the local market, and ensure outputs align with country priorities
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align approaches, secure support, and drive country performance
  • Expand and strengthen the local network by building relationships with key opinion leaders, communities, and strategic partners to maximize brand reach and credibility
  • Take full ownership of the country’s P&L, ensuring profitable and scalable growth
  • Build and lead a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of innovation, performance, and execution excellence
  • Develop and present business plans, market analyses, and reports to enable data-driven decision-making and track success
