Requirements:

• 6+ years of backend development experience, working on complex systems and platform solutions.
• Proven experience building platform tooling, libraries, solutions, and processes that support multiple engineering teams.
• Strong communicator, able to work across teams and translate technical vision into actionable plans.
• Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and a deep understanding of how to develop high-quality, reliable software.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts and communicate solutions clearly to your team and other stakeholders.
• Commitment to delivering solutions that are well-tested, reliable, and maintainable.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to define and implement the vision for a scalable system architecture that supports our growing portfolio and customer base.
• Build and maintain tools, libraries, and observability solutions to empower other engineering teams in shipping features and achieving KPIs.
• Explore and propose new technologies to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that promotes best practices and enables others.
• Create reusable solutions that help teams scale faster and avoid one-off workarounds.
• Champion engineering best practices and help elevate our tech stack to the next level, setting standards for the organization.
• Implement platform solutions and processes (e.g., load testing, database backup restoration automation, authorization, anonymization, etc.) and document them for internal usage.
