Requirements:

• 5+ years of management experience with demonstrated success in underwriting cyber and tech primary and excess business.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train less experienced underwriters.
• Track record of productive cross-team collaboration.
• Experience handling a high volume of business.
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written).
• Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of small business underwriters and business development professionals.
• Provide guidance including feedback on compliance and underwriting judgment.
• Partner with Business Development and Production Underwriting leaders to manage key partner relationships.
• Provide training and subject matter expertise to the Risk Engineering team.
• Reinforce core values in daily performance.
• Adjust work assignments to optimize performance and ensure reasonable workloads.
• Collaborate with various teams to improve the management of SME risks.
