Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in payroll management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in managing payroll operations for a multi-country workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and tax reporting in Canada and the US.
• Experience with payroll platforms such as ADP, Workday, Gusto, and Deel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead audits, reconciliations, and year-end payroll processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex payroll issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Payroll certifications (e.g., PCP) are an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Lead payroll specialists for daily payroll processing and approve all payrolls.
• Develop protocols to improve payroll employee support and satisfaction.
• Ensure timely and accurate end-to-end payroll processing.
• Manage Canadian and US payroll operations, including integration with platforms like Deel.
• Coordinate payroll schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and manage tax reporting.
• Prepare payroll data for audits and manage year-end processes.
• Oversee payroll system functionality and lead system updates.
• Generate insights from payroll data for decision-making.
• Drive payroll projects and support business expansion.
