Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience and one shipped AAA title.
  • Strong skills in procedural material creation software (Adobe Substance 3D Designer).
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.
  • Proficient in 3D modeling software (3DS Max, Maya, Blender).
  • Good knowledge of color theory and lighting techniques.
  • Ability to work from scanned data.
  • Strong understanding of PBR practices.
  • Good knowledge of shaders and supporting texture maps.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated to work improvement.
  • Ability to estimate workload and manage deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
  • Create photorealistic materials for different uses (tiling, decals, atlases) using various tools.
  • Participate in the creation of plans and concepts for locations and assets.
  • Cooperate with Art Directors and Art Leads to enhance material quality while maintaining artistic consistency.
  • Collaborate with Environment and Asset artists to use prepared materials.
  • Prepare patterns and decorative elements with Concept Artists.
  • Work with Technical artists to develop shaders.
  • Contribute to finishing touches on assets, landscape, and architecture.
  • Maintain production pipeline to achieve visual quality and performance goals.
