  • Experience should be at the secondary or postsecondary level.
  • Subject areas for Humanities: Honors level experience with US History and World History; Philosophy, Economics, or Government; English Language Arts.
  • Subject areas for STEM: Honors level experience with Algebra I through Calculus; Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Environmental Science.
  • Experience with coding or robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading learning experiences in keeping with Sora’s mission and vision.
  • Providing formative and summative feedback to students.
  • Managing the virtual classroom to ensure a positive and consistent learning environment.
  • Convening house meetings as scheduled.
  • Participating in faculty meetings as requested by the school leadership.
