Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell (Perl or Python) programming languages.
  • Extensive proficiency in modern RDBMS products, particularly Oracle (latest version). PostgreSQL is a major plus.
  • Experience developing complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Proficiency in using Standard Oracle Packages (e.g., UTL_FILE), Dynamic SQL, Records, Arrays, PL/SQL tables, and File handling.
  • Knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL Performance Tuning, query rewriting, and using Explain Plan and Hints.
  • Expertise in Collections, Exception Handling, Partitioning techniques, BULK features, Analytics functions, and External tables.
  • Solid experience and comfort with UNIX/Linux platforms and sufficient commands.
  • Agile working experience with Scrum and SDLC methodologies and best practices. Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.
  • Thorough working experience with DevOps, UC4, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
  • Proficiency utilizing object-oriented analysis and design principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of software methodologies, distributed networking, databases, communications, and multiprocessing applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL code for database applications.
  • Optimize and tune PL/SQL code for performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work in an Agile environment, following Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
