• IT literate, with good operational knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities:

• Write bloodstock news, racing stories, and features in a timely and accurate manner.
• Help plan editorial content with the bloodstock international editor.
• Attend major sales and events in Australasia when required.
• Monitor the bloodstock market and trends in the industry.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry figures.
• Perform social media duties including posting editorial content and breaking news on various platforms.
• Proof and write Australasian-focused features for the Racing Post Bloodstock desk.
• Follow house style and adhere to media and copyright law.
• Build and nurture a strong network of contacts in the racing industry.
