Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Ten (10) + years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Engineer.
• Experience engineering Microsoft SQL platforms.
• Eight (8) + years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting/coding languages such as Transact-SQL (T-SQL), Python, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with applications like Ansible, GitHub, Control-M, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience adhering to SOX compliance.
• Ability to develop technical application and service roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Microsoft SQL Server Platform and SQL databases as part of an Agile team.
• Developing new features and services of low to medium complexity in collaboration with product, platform, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Creating Runbooks, Standard Operating Processes, and conducting knowledge transfers to Operation Teams and Contractors.
• Delivering clean, secure, and performant solutions that meet all non-functional requirements.
• Acting as a Lead Engineer for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing tasks, providing guidance, and resolving issues.
• Leading in the development of process definitions, best practices, and standards.
• Identifying new technologies for consideration and implementing proof of concepts.
