Requirements:

• Minimal of three (3) years experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family/primary medicine as an APP.
• Two (2) years experience in rural medicine as an APP.
• Must hold an active unrestrictive license as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies to include lab work, images, and patient medical records and diagnostics and their interpretation.
• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
• Respect for patient’s confidentiality and desires for their own healthcare.
• Multiple APP licenses are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Ask intuitive questions to discover cause(s) of illness, injury or medical issue.
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history, exam, and testing.
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information.
• Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and extended team to form a high performing medical team.
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients.
• Support a patient population from newborn to geriatric.
