Requirements:

• Computer science degree.
• Ample individual delivery experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
• Two or more Google Cloud Professional Certifications: Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, Database Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with Data Lakes, ETL, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud SQL, BigTable, Spanner, etc.
• Proficiency in writing Terraform code.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for data and ML projects.
• Coding/scripting skills required, e.g. Python, Go, C(++)
• Experience with DBT and/or Dataform.
• Experience with Dagster, airbyte, Fivetran and/or Hightouch.
• Ability to present to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong time management and prioritisation capabilities.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting GCP Data Architecture and AI/ML Workshops.
• Take responsibility for delivery teams to ensure comprehensive implementation of customer projects.
• Proven experience in delivering complex technical designs and architectures.
• Design and deliver architectures that are fit for purpose, assessing customer requirements and constraints.
• Creating solution architecture and technical design documents.
• Participate actively in the further development of frameworks, service concepts, service domains and products in the company.
• Assist in sales to new and existing customers.
• Actively contribute to continuous learning for yourself and your colleagues.
• Coaching and mentoring juniors.
• Stay up to date with current trends.
