Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical degree, or comparable industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and leading teams in building containerized services deployed on platforms like Kubernetes or Mesos.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production software development using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, NodeJS.
• Experience with agile development methodologies for over 3 years and at least 1 year of experience in working with databases (relational or non-relational).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Subversion, and a security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities:

• The Platform Services Engineer will build and manage hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms, focusing on both private and commercial cloud infrastructures.
• They will deploy Kubernetes in various configurations and automate platform management on an enterprise scale.
• The engineer will also develop scalable platform APIs for software operations and maintain services for hosting containerized applications.
• They are expected to mentor junior developers and interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
