Requirements:

• Proficient in cybersecurity topics such as incident response, network scanning tools, vulnerability assessments, Kali Linux, and log analysis.
• Experienced with cybersecurity tools including WireShark, Nessus, Nmap/Kali Linux, Splunk, and others.
• Hold a current CISSP certificate; additional industry certifications are preferred.
• Available for biweekly calls and capable of using Zoom for video conferencing.
• Empathetic and patient with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead biweekly 30-minute video check-ins with students to discuss their questions, projects, and career advice.
• Provide meaningful feedback on student submissions and assist them in setting and achieving their learning goals.
• Support students through additional communication outside of scheduled calls.
