Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a content creator, video editor, or similar role in a US company or US brand.
  • Proven experience in product video editing, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise in product video production.
  • Strong writing skills, with experience in creating scripts, articles, and social media content.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing and Maintaining our US social media and e-commerce platforms (i.e.: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Amazon, own brand websites)
  • Orchestrating digital content strategies across all our US online platforms.
  • Creating graphic designs for our US social media and eCommerce platforms.
  • Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content, including short-form videos, tutorials, and promotional materials.
  • Add graphics, text, music, and effects to enhance video content and ensure consistency with the brand.
  • Work with raw footage to create polished videos ready for distribution across social media and other platforms.
  • Write compelling scripts for video content that are informative, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice. You would need to generate content for all three languages: English, Malay and Chinese.
  • Develop articles, blog posts, and other written content that supports our video content and enhances our digital presence.
  • Collaborate with the content strategy team to ensure all written content aligns with overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Assist in developing a content calendar that outlines topics, video concepts, and posting schedules.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant topics into content to keep our audience engaged and informed.
  • Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and our HK Marketing team to align marketing solutions with business goals and deliver effective and impactful content.
  • Managing a content marketing budget.
  • Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns.
  • Conducts market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competition ventures.
  • Adapt video content for different social media platforms, ensuring that each piece meets platform-specific requirements.
  • Write accompanying copy for social media posts that drives engagement and encourages audience interaction.
  • Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited to.
  • Staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical skills, and driving innovation within the development team.
