Oversee team processes for accurate accounting and reporting of investment companies.
Develop and own process descriptions, matrices, and flow charts for key processes and controls.
Develop and own processes to onboard clients from existing administrators and service providers.
Interact with external auditors and ensure timely completion of fund audits.
Oversee portfolio company events and data evaluation, determining appropriate valuation actions for each investment.
Coach and oversee a team of managers and/or senior accountants.
Ensure fund accounting treatment complies with US GAAP, particularly ASC 946 and ASC 820, and evaluate special situations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive increased automation.
