Data Engineer

Engineering at Alongside

As an engineer at Alongside, you tackle complex challenges building scalable software solutions for our partners. You work with a modern tech stack, including strong proficiency in TypeScript across IaaS, backend, and frontend development. We emphasize strict typing and use Pulumi for infrastructure-as-code. Our backend systems are built with Bun, while React and Vite power our frontend. You will host applications on AWS, using Postgres and Redis for data storage, and implementing GraphQL with end-to-end type safety. For DevOps roles, you will manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible, focusing on robust Linux/Unix systems and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
