- Oversee, lead, and support regional project estimators with technical support, reviews, and mentorship.
- Assess technical project requirements and personnel needs during the estimating process.
- Lead preparation of proposal deliverables, including written proposals, schedules, cash flow analyses, and exhibit reviews.
- Monitor estimator workloads and assign projects to the team.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates.
- Collaborate with the Estimating Manager to streamline procedures and communicate estimating insights to leadership.
- Assess project risks, constraints, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare cost estimates for electrical transmission, generation, distribution, substation, and battery energy storage projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align estimates with project execution plans.
- Participate in bid negotiations and support contract award processes.
