Tarion: Protecting Ontario's New Home Buyers Tarion is an independent, not-for-profit organization providing warranty protection for new homes in Ontario. We ensure consumer confidence by backstopping builders' warranties, offering resources to homeowners, and resolving warranty claims when necessary. We've protected over 375,000 homes and enroll approximately 55,000 new homes annually, making us a cornerstone of the Ontario real estate market. Our underwriting team uses data-driven analysis to assess builder risk and apply appropriate terms and conditions. Our tech stack leverages technologies like Amazon, AWS Global Accelerator, Google Cloud Functions, and various schema markups for data management and online presence. While we're not a tech company at our core, we appreciate the importance of efficient systems to manage the complexities of our warranty programs.
