Carina Initiatives

Carina Initiatives is working to build a better math talent system in the U.S. - a system that sends more kids from more communities to the frontiers of science and technology. We believe a robust math talent system should develop early problem-solving identity in all kids, and build deep math pathways throughout k-12 for those with high interest and motivation. We invest in teams and products that nurture hidden math talent. We make bold bets on organizations that affect systems change and work closely with them to help them succeed. We are a nimble giving team with deep expertise in building nonprofit and for-profit organizations, bringing a fresh approach to the world of philanthropic giving.
