  • 15+ years of experience in communications, ideally within a consumer technology company.
  • Fluent language skills in English and either Korean or Japanese; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment and in developing impactful communications plans.
  • Experience supporting various in-house business functions, including Public Policy.
  • Experience managing communication agencies.
  • Confirmed performance in crisis communication.
  • Experience in media interviews and public speaking.

  • Build, lead and implement compelling communications campaigns in APAC markets - particularly South Korea, Japan and Australia - in support of business objectives.
  • Use deep understanding of the media landscape to build strategic recommendations and scalable programs.
  • Handle high-profile and fast-paced business issues while demonstrating good judgment.
  • Lead media outreach for global campaigns and announcements.
  • Develop company positions on key regional issues and manage crisis communication.
  • Support communications objectives across various business functions in APAC.
  • Manage APAC press office and agency relationships.
  • Act as a public-facing spokesperson for Roblox.
