Requirements
- Have 1+ years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a related role.
- Have strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking.
- Have proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.
- Have experience with Windows and Linux.
- Have experience with network monitoring tools.
- Understand cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Be able to troubleshoot network outages and performance issues.
- Preferred: hold a CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP certification.
- Preferred: have experience with cloud networking, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: have knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: be familiar with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and security to support uptime and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, and VPN issues.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols.
- Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and backups.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support server and cloud infrastructure.
- Document network configurations and create reports on network performance.
