Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience managing enterprise Microsoft Azure environments.
- Have experience across Azure compute, networking—including VNets, ExpressRoute, and Application Gateways—and storage tiers.
- Demonstrate advanced mastery of Terraform or Bicep for provisioning automation, drift detection, and state management across multi-subscription environments.
- Have a proven track record building, securing, and scaling AKS clusters, managing ingress controllers, and deploying applications using Helm charts.
- Have deep proficiency building automated pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including security scanning, policy compliance, and zero-downtime releases.
- Understand cloud security governance using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, RBAC, and a Zero Trust model.
- Have experience configuring end-to-end monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
- Be located within CET timezone +/- 3 hours.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are nice to have.
- Programming literacy in Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash is a nice to have.
- Experience with FinOps, Azure Cost Management policies, hybrid cloud configurations, or Azure Arc is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep, maintaining modular IaC libraries and strict state management workflows.
- Provision, patch, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including autoscaling, ingress routing, and service mesh policies.
- Design, maintain, and secure automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Enforce Azure Policy guardrails, audit IAM roles via Entra ID, manage secret rotation in Key Vault, and mitigate vulnerabilities identified by Defender for Cloud.
- Monitor system metrics, respond to infrastructure incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and optimize cloud resource utilization.
