Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in product design, preferably with consumer products.
- Be able to examine APIs and prototype designs based on APIs.
- Be able to turn code into a mock easily.
- Use research and data to inform design work.
- Identify users and their journeys before prototyping.
- Track competitors and continually iterate on product improvements.
- Lead user research and client feedback sessions to inform decisions before build.
- Work in a fast-paced company, meet deadlines, drive results, and manage competing priorities under tight timeframes.
- Collaborate on product design and integrate feedback.
- Design intuitive native mobile and web applications.
- Be proficient with collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, and GitHub.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the user experience of Consumer and Client-facing products with the product development team.
- Lead design sprints to define and explore problems.
- Create content maps, sketches, wireframes, and low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Develop design concepts for brainstorming and approval, and lead stakeholder reviews.
- Ship valuable, high-quality work while maintaining speed.
- Conduct research to develop empathy for clients and users and advocate for their needs.
- Use data to help inform design work.
- Keep current on emerging trends in online consumer behavior, technologies, and design.
- Solicit and provide feedback with designers, product managers, and the executive team.
