Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of commercial experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python for maintainable code, automation, and backend services.
- Have Bash scripting experience.
- Have a proven track record designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines.
- Have hands-on experience managing on-premise developer tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or BuildBarn.
- Have a solid background in Linux administration.
- Understand networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, and VLANs.
- Have hands-on experience with Docker and container registry management.
- Be able to diagnose and solve performance problems at scale, including tracking capacity and system metrics.
- Have English language proficiency at a minimum B2/C1 level.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, scale, and optimise core on-premise infrastructure.
- Support Jenkins, Bitbucket, and BuildBarn developer tools and services.
- Use system administration, networking, and automation to support infrastructure services.
- Provide cross-ecosystem support for Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks across large-scale infrastructure.
- Track system capacity and metrics and investigate performance problems.
