Requirements
- Have a track record of shipping and maintaining production software.
- Bring deep Kubernetes platform experience, including operators, CRDs, admission control, and node lifecycle.
- Have practical distributed-systems knowledge, including consensus, leader election, eventual consistency, and fault domains.
- Use a rigorous SDLC covering design reviews, CI/CD, staged rollouts, rollback, and observability.
- Nice to have: have delivered a Kubernetes or infrastructure control plane as a product.
- Nice to have: have hyperscaler or neocloud experience running AI or GPU workloads.
- Nice to have: have experience with inference platforms, accelerators, or device plugins.
- Nice to have: use coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex daily.
Responsibilities
- Design and build core platform systems, including APIs, controllers, operators, and reconciliation loops.
- Write, review, test, debug, and operate production code.
- Build a commercial Kubernetes service for dedicated customers running AI workloads.
- Design failure handling, consistency, and recovery across distributed systems.
- Define stable platform APIs that shield customers from backend changes.
- Work closely with infrastructure, inference, networking, and security teams.
