Requirements
- Bring extensive backend engineering experience, preferably within the Java / JVM ecosystem.
- Demonstrate full-stack capabilities across frontend, backend and database layers.
- Have a track record building and operating complex web applications in production for enterprise environments.
- Have a strong understanding of SQL, data modelling and database design for relational systems.
- Bring practical experience with AI coding tools or agentic development workflows.
- Apply strong code review skills focused on correctness, security and architecture.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver complete features independently.
- Be able to rapidly learn unfamiliar business domains.
- Be comfortable working at pace and making pragmatic, well-reasoned technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of features across frontend, backend, databases and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
- Direct, challenge and validate AI coding agents throughout the development lifecycle.
- Review AI-generated code for architectural weak points, security concerns and quality risks.
- Design and work with relational databases, data models and enterprise-grade architectures.
- Deliver complete features rapidly while maintaining engineering standards and testing practices.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product owners and cross-functional team members.
