- Hold a master's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or a related field with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Have a strong track record analyzing real-world data using claims, EMR, and lab data.
- Have experience with PharMetrics Plus, Flatiron, or Tempus; the posting identifies these as required for the role and later notes them as preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in advanced R programming.
- Have prior pharmaceutical experience.
- Have advanced knowledge of observational research study design and analytic methodologies.
- Have experience analyzing oncology data and safety outcomes; this is preferred.
- Be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of analytic datasets by processing raw data and checking and cleaning claims, EHR, and lab data.
- Assess the feasibility of real-world data sources to characterize populations and build patient cohorts.
- Define and validate study variables for study objectives.
- Conduct and quality-check analyses, identify diagnosis and treatment codes, and apply statistical methods for censoring, confounding, and missing data.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists to specify descriptive and complex statistical analyses, including longitudinal analysis, survival analysis, and regression models.
- Develop and quality-check tables, figures, and listings for protocols, reports, and manuscripts using real-world data.
- Support development of protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports.
- Communicate timelines, progress, and results to project teams and key stakeholders.
