Requirements
- Bring proven experience building high-level automation workflows beyond basic Terraform scripts.
- Have deep hands-on experience operating Apache Kafka on Kubernetes at scale.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Have experience with cell-based architectures and multi-region deployments.
- Have experience with pipeline orchestration.
- Be open to occasional pre-scheduled evening calls between 17:00–21:00 CET to sync with US-based stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation workflows to automate full-region spin-ups and deployment cells.
- Manage and optimize large-scale Kafka clusters running on Kubernetes.
- Maintain and scale infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Kubernetes (EKS), RDS, and proprietary storage systems.
- Simplify YAML configurations, pipelines, and deployment templates into scalable platform tooling.
- Drive reliability, observability, and infrastructure-as-code standards across global regions.
