Requirements
- Have proven experience in technical pre-sales and designing cloud data architectures.
- Have hands-on consulting experience with Azure and Databricks.
- Have working knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LLMs, and intelligent automation patterns.
- Have experience designing and presenting scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using established patterns and standards.
- Have a track record running discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and RFP responses for complex data and AI deals.
- Have commercial awareness and experience shaping Statements of Work and estimates and connecting technical choices to business value, total cost of ownership, and time to value.
- Have previous consulting experience.
- Have Databricks Professional certification or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through real project experience.
- Azure certifications are a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and document end-to-end AI solutions using Databricks, Azure AI services, LLMs, and related services.
- Translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs that delivery teams can build.
- Identify technical risks, record them on the project risk register, and own their mitigation and resolution.
- Lead client discovery workshops to capture requirements, current state, workloads, governance constraints, and target outcomes.
- Own technical content for RFP and RFI responses, proposals, architecture diagrams, and Statements of Work.
- Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, and prototypes for GenAI, AI Agents, natural language interfaces, and data-driven solutions.
- Work with Databricks and Microsoft field teams on strategic AI opportunities and co-selling initiatives.
- Advise clients and translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for senior leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Hand won opportunities to delivery with a clear design covering scope, assumptions, risks, and estimates.
