Requirements
- Be proficient in one or more programming languages commonly used in the stack, such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Have experience designing and evolving scalable software architecture from the ground up.
- Be highly skilled in creating secure RESTful APIs.
- Have proven experience with Agile development practices.
- Have solid software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, deployment automation, and design documentation.
- Have a strong understanding of database design and evolution.
- Have experience with software monitoring, observability, and performance tracking tools and practices.
- Be fluent in Portuguese and have advanced English.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale centralized Authentication (AuthN) and Authorization (AuthZ) platforms.
- Address complex engineering challenges involving scale, resilience, fault tolerance, and low latency.
- Work with engineering teams, product managers, and Security to define secure service-to-service and user-to-service communication practices.
- Own the IAM software lifecycle, including definition, development, testing, production deployment, and maintenance.
- Reinforce software development practices, participate in design and code reviews, and mentor engineers.
- Handle incidents, troubleshoot and debug software issues, and create post-mortems with follow-up actions.
- Monitor the health and performance of authentication services.
