Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative modeling, or relevant research competitions.
- Competition experience with platforms such as Kaggle or DrivenData; other listed platforms include Zindi, AIcrowd, Numerai, and CodaLab/Codabench.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Clear understanding of the methods you use.
- Practical programming ability sufficient to implement and verify your own solutions.
- Strong coding experience, particularly in Python, including testing, debugging, and working with unfamiliar code, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build reproducible environments and prepare relevant data and dependencies.
- Implement reference solutions for tasks.
- Develop tests and evaluation criteria that distinguish correct solutions from incomplete or flawed approaches.
- Run coding agents against tasks and investigate their failures.
- Refine tasks based on observed agent behavior.
- Identify implementation errors, flawed assumptions, data leakage, and other issues affecting correctness.
- Document task requirements, solution reasoning, and verification steps.
