Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience designing and building highly available distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native systems.
- Experience working with AWS, including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, or similar cloud services.
- Knowledge of system design and experience making architecture trade-offs, including REST vs. gRPC vs. GraphQL, synchronous vs. asynchronous, and SQL vs. NoSQL.
- Experience with high-scale production environments and reliability requirements.
- Experience with a “you build it, you run it” approach, DevOps, CI/CD, and Docker.
- Knowledge of security practices including JWT and OAuth2, and Shift Left Security.
- Experience in regulated environments such as fintech or banking is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to technical and business teams.
- English at B2+ or above.
- Experience mentoring and working at Staff, Principal, or Senior Engineer level.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable, reliable distributed and microservices architectures.
- Help build and develop critical systems for a large-scale investment platform.
- Define the long-term technical strategy and architecture roadmap.
- Design cross-system solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Ensure high standards for security, observability, and reliability.
- Work with Product, Design, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor Senior Engineers and raise technical standards across the organization.
- Contribute to zero-to-one initiatives and critical-system refactoring.
- Promote DevOps, AI automation, and security-by-design engineering practices.
