Requirements
- Have proven experience developing Android applications, supported by a portfolio of applications or relevant projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Kotlin, including core language features, object-oriented programming, and modern development practices.
- Understand the full mobile application development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation through testing, release, maintenance, and support.
- Have proven experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) and understand code sharing across mobile platforms.
- Be familiar with RESTful APIs and experienced integrating Android applications with backend services.
- Understand Android design principles, interface guidelines, and UI/UX standards for accessible, intuitive, and consistent applications.
- Have experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, analyzing memory usage, and optimizing responsiveness with profiling and debugging tools.
- Be proficient with Git or other code versioning tools.
- Understand maintainable code practices, code organization, and automation techniques for reliable and efficient development.
- Be able to investigate technical issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and deliver features aligned with business and user requirements.
- Ensure application performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness across supported Android devices and versions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical issues, and software defects.
- Maintain code quality, organization, readability, and maintainability.
- Implement and maintain automated development and testing practices.
- Integrate Android applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.
- Apply Android design principles and UI/UX guidelines to deliver intuitive and consistent user experiences.
- Use performance profiling and memory analysis tools to identify optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) development and shared-code integration across mobile platforms.
