- Clinical Practice as a registered Nurse (Minimum 3 years); Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Minimum 2 years); Independent Prescriber (Minimum 2 years)
Requirements
- Current NMC registration as an Adult Nurse with no restrictions to practice.
- MSc or PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice.
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical practice as a registered nurse.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Independent Prescriber.
- Current Basic Life Support certificate.
- Current Safeguarding Children and Adult Level 3 certification.
- Ability to evidence implementation of the four pillars of advanced practice.
- Previous remote-working experience is desirable.
- Previous private-practice experience is desirable.
- Available for at least 16 hours or 4 sessions per week, including the required weekend rotation unless regularly working a weekend session.
- Available to complete induction during Monday to Friday office hours.
Responsibilities
- Deliver remote Advanced Nurse Practice primary care consultations to Bupa Health Clinics customers.
- Refer customers for face-to-face care or to another primary or secondary care provider when necessary.
- Work within individual clinical scope and refer customers to a GP or other clinician as needed.
- Follow the National Framework of Advanced Clinical Practice, the NMC professional code, and Bupa policies and guidance.
- Participate in incident reporting and investigation.
- Complete internal competency assessments and annual clinical reviews.
- Undertake NMC revalidation every three years.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement with the remote clinical leadership team and operations colleagues.
