Requirements
- Have practical, hands-on experience in manual testing, including functional, UI, and accessibility testing.
- Have experience performing API testing with relevant tools or frameworks.
- Have practical experience using AI tools such as Claude to support testing activities.
- Have good knowledge of software testing theory and common methodologies.
- Be familiar with Gherkin syntax and the BDD approach.
- Be able to identify and communicate risks and potential quality issues early in development.
- Be able to define test scope and prioritise tasks according to risk and impact.
- Have communicative English.
- Nice to have: experience in test automation using Playwright and Cucumber, and knowledge of TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing across functional, UI, and accessibility areas.
- Design, execute, and document API tests to validate integrations and backend behaviour.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude for test case generation, exploratory testing, and defect analysis.
- Write reproducible bug reports and work with developers to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Apply software testing theory and methodologies to define test strategies and approaches.
- Use Gherkin syntax and BDD to create behaviour-focused scenarios where appropriate.
- Identify quality risks early and propose mitigation steps.
- Define test scope and prioritise activities based on risk, timelines, and product impact.
- Communicate test status, risks, and results to stakeholders.
