Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree or direct and applicable work experience; formal studies in computer science engineering or a similar field are listed.
- Have 1+ year of demonstrated IT experience in application development, DevOps, and an IT capacity.
- Have 2+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer.
- Understand web markup, including HTML and CSS3.
- Understand client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and jQuery.
- Understand asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
- Understand cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds.
- Have experience with code versioning tools such as Git and API connections such as REST web services.
- Have experience with Azure.
- Be familiar with browser testing and debugging, image authoring tools, and SEO principles.
- Have advanced English proficiency (80%–90%).
- Agile methodology, graphics software such as Adobe Suite or Photoshop, and cloud or hosted environments are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop functional web- and mobile-based applications based on usability.
- Maintain and enhance websites.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional application code.
- Write web pages using markup languages and create CSS that works across browsers and platforms.
- Write functional requirement documents and specifications.
- Create mockups and prototypes on tight timelines.
- Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
- Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout product interfaces.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and promote usability best practices.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
