Requirements
- Have 4+ years of professional backend software development experience using Python.
- Understand Python core concepts, including OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency, and data structures.
- Have a proven track record building and deploying production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
- Have strong proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks such as Pytest.
- Have advanced proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows, including pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews.
- Have an upper-intermediate English level.
- Have hands-on experience with Docker, including writing optimized Dockerfiles and using Docker Compose.
- Have experience setting up and managing GitHub Actions workflows for automated testing and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python.
- Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Conduct peer code reviews and promote modern Python practices, including type hinting, async processing, and design patterns.
- Containerize applications using Docker and build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Design schema models, write optimized SQL queries, and work with ORMs and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services while ensuring low latency, high availability, and strong security standards.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
