Requirements
- Hold a master’s degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline and have 10 years of experience; 10 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Have experience working with customers, users, and project leads to analyze, design, implement, and support IT business systems.
- Understand how to elicit customer and end-user requirements in a software application lifecycle environment.
- Have strong experience elaborating requirements and developing acceptance criteria.
- Have expertise with Jira tools.
- Have experience in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Advanced use of MS Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and manage functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements for an Agile product team.
- Interview users, facilitate sessions, and develop business process models and formal specifications.
- Gather and document requirements with customers, stakeholders, team members, and contractors.
- Elaborate user stories, decompose them into backlog items, and define acceptance criteria.
- Use Jira for requirements, testing, and defect management, including managing epics and user stories.
- Validate requirements and integration, conduct backlog refinement, and coordinate with systems engineers on technical solution impacts.
- Manage requirements across projects, including change control, change requests, configuration management, and traceability to test cases and risks.
- Report program and product execution status and metrics across the SAFe Agile development lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts and support development teams in understanding requirements.
