Requirements
- Hold an MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline, or have a strong understanding of applied mechanics and mechanical-engineering fundamentals.
- Have experience developing analytical, computational, or simulation-based engineering solutions.
- Have practical proficiency with coding agents.
- Be prepared to begin the first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding if selected.
- Be available for approximately 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Solve and validate mechanical-engineering problems involving design, analysis, simulation, testing, or R&D.
- Translate physical systems and engineering requirements into analytical or computational models.
- Create or modify geometry, meshes, materials, loads, contacts, constraints, and solver inputs.
- Run engineering simulations and determine whether artifacts and analyses satisfy applicable physical and design constraints.
- Create, review, and validate engineering tasks across structural, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics domains.
