Requirements
- 10 years of experience in application or solution architecture.
- 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, and cloud-native application design and deployment.
- 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale, complex serverless SaaS solutions on public cloud; AWS is preferred.
- 5 years of experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or an equivalent advanced certification.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and AWS cost management and optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, high availability, data retention, disaster recovery, and security.
- Intermediate knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulations, including HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Familiarity with identity and access models in on-premises and public cloud environments.
- Advanced proficiency in cloud-native serverless application design and development, microservices architecture, and event-driven design patterns.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including AWS CloudWatch.
- Expertise in cloud service design patterns and architectures, including multi-region and multi-tenant SaaS models.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the architectural vision and strategy for healthcare SaaS products.
- Design and manage scalable, secure, available, resilient cloud and hybrid product architectures.
- Guide product engineering on design, operational optimization, deployment pipelines, and automation.
- Maintain product technology scorecards, roadmaps, technical debt inventories, and compliance with reference models.
- Produce architecture artifacts and guide designs through the architecture governance process.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, technical architects, security, and operations to align product design and roadmaps with strategic technology direction.
- Support new products and releases with serverless, cloud-native, and microservice architecture designs.
- Promote elastic and serverless designs and ensure alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Assess emerging technologies and incorporate relevant approaches, including microservices, serverless architectures, and AI/ML, into product roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
