Requirements
- Hold an MA in Art History to teach at the undergraduate level.
- Hold a PhD in Art History to teach at the graduate level.
- Have a strong record of professional achievement.
- Be able to teach a wide range of art historical subjects.
- Have a history of publication in academic or trade journals.
- Have an established research agenda.
- Preferred: hold a PhD in Art History.
- Preferred: have three years or more of online teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels, or equivalent.
- Preferred: have experience with online course development.
- Maintain professional and creative development.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate students within the online Art History curriculum.
- Manage and support developed lectures, discussions, and course assignments using current industry-standard practices.
- Provide regular, timely feedback to students to improve their thinking and execution.
- Provide feedback to supervisors to promote student success.
- Evaluate student work and provide detailed critiques.
- Submit grades in a timely manner.
- Stay current with industry trends, software, and technologies.
