Requirements
- Have 4 to 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Bring a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Have experience with cloud-based data platforms and environments.
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills and data modeling experience for data warehouses.
- Demonstrate strong Python skills, especially notebooks, for building and maintaining data workflows.
- Have experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data warehouses used by reporting or business teams.
- Have experience using Git/GitHub for version control in collaborative environments.
- Understand pipeline orchestration, dependency management, data quality, validation, and monitoring fundamentals.
- Have hands-on data migration experience, including schema mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
- Be available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Improve data pipelines through automation.
- Add quality checks to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout data processing workflows.
- Reduce manual intervention and minimize errors in data workflows.
- Analyze legacy systems as part of migration to new systems.
- Transfer and integrate data while maintaining continuity of existing operations.
