- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; or 5 years of translation experience and no college degree
Requirements
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
- Be specialized in the relevant field.
- Have a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or
- Have 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; or
- Have 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
- Hold a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
- Complete the translation and MTPE tests.
- Be able to maintain professionalism, especially under tight deadlines.
- Have acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
Responsibilities
- Translate life science materials from English into Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
- Proofread translated documents before delivery to the client.
- Work on clinical and legal materials.
