Requirements
- Have team development experience.
- Have excellent knowledge of PHP 8.
- Have significant experience with Laravel or Symfony; the company uses Laravel 8.
- Know PSR standards and understand object-oriented programming.
- Understand SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI principles and be able to identify violations in practice.
- Know popular patterns, anti-patterns, and algorithms, and understand when to use them.
- Have experience integrating external services and understand how HTTP works.
- Have experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and understand joins, indexes, and keys.
- Understand the need to write unit and integration tests; the company uses PHPUnit.
- Be comfortable with *nix/Linux and confident using the command line.
