Requirements
- Hold current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Have a minimum of four years' post-graduate RN experience in the required clinical areas, gained within the last five years.
- Bring experience in acute care, emergency nursing, critical care or complex primary healthcare.
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking and communication skills.
- Be confident using digital systems and technology.
- Reside and work within Australia.
- Be available for two weeks of mandatory full-time Monday–Friday training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone-based clinical assessments and triage.
- Provide evidence-based health advice across adult and paediatric presentations.
- Assess clinical risk and recognise when escalation is required.
- Support acute, sub-acute and mental health presentations.
- Recommend appropriate care pathways.
- Refer callers to GPs, Urgent Care Clinics, Virtual Emergency Departments and other appropriate health services.
